Thanks for visiting Poruzai, a blog dedicated to explaining Strength of Materials in the simplest way possible.
This blog was created for engineering students—especially those studying mechanical or architectural engineering—as well as young engineers. Strength of Materials is something you simply can’t avoid if you want to build things, but let’s be honest… it can be pretty tough to fully understand.
You’ve probably seen (or posted) things like “Strength of Materials is way too hard!” or “I’ve given up on getting credit for this course…” on social media. Yeah, I get it.
That’s exactly why this site exists.
Here, I break everything down into the simplest possible explanations—so simple it might feel almost ridiculous. I truly hope this helps students who are struggling.
Worried about failing your Strength of Materials class? Don’t worry—once you get the hang of it, it’s not that hard (at least up to a certain point). I hope this site helps you earn those credits.
My goal is always to explain things clearly and carefully, so most of the content is aimed at beginners.
If you’re thinking, “I already get the basics, but I can’t solve the hard problems!”—hang tight. I’m planning to add more advanced problem explanations (with different difficulty levels) in the future.
